how long do you usually stay at disney for?

We usually do a longer trip during the summer, and a shorter trip around the holidays. The last few years, we've been doing two weeks in the summer, and I think that works out best for us (of course, we would LOVE to stay longer, but the budget won't allow). 4-6 nights in early December works out good too - since the crowds are usually smaller.

For our two week stays, I try to have at least two hotel/pool days. That really makes for a relaxing vacation!

I'm probably in the minority, but I thought our 7th park day was 1 too many.

We went in September so there were no big lines...so we did the rides as many times as we liked. We just did the 4 parks (not the water parks). We stayed at CBR. We had park hoppers. By day 6, we were repeating all our favorite attractions. Day 7 - we were bushed and weren't really in the spirit to jump on a bus and go back to a park.

So for us, and for just seeing the 4 parks, we enjoy 6 park days.

We are going back in January and staying at the WL. Scheduled for 6 days. Arriving on a Sunday afternoon, and leaving Saturday morning.

We have done 8, 10, 14 and 16 days.

16 days was way too long. I was ready to get home.

14 days was a little long, mostly because this was our first trip to WDW with DS and he was only 10 months old at the time. Without kids, I think we would've had more fun.

I think that 8-10 days is ideal. Gives you time to enjoy the parks w/out feeling too rushed. For our trip this year we are doing 8 days and DS is now 3. I think that it should be a perfect amount of time :)

We started taking our daughter when she turned 4 a few years ago. We started with 7 nights, then 8, then 9, then 10, and on this last trip, 11!

I think our sweet spot for getting done what we want, and feeling as though we were actually "away" was the 10 day marker. We LOVE being at WDW, but after 10 days, we start to burn out. Not in a bad way, but still.

So for us, as long as we can afford it, we will do a minimum of 10 days from now forward. :cool1:

We have stayed 10 days and it just felt TOO long. The kids were tired, we were tired and just wanted to sleep in our own beds. 7 is what we do now. Saturday to Saturday. Get there early Saturday morning and leave later in the afternoon the following Saturday. We do MNSSHP on the Friday before we leave and we have a blast! :woohoo:

10 days is about perfect for us. Our last trip was only 8 nights/9 days, and it didn't seem long enough. We drive down, so we arrive early the first day (usually by 6:00 a.m.) and can stay as long was we want on departure day; we have a 14-15 hour drive, but we drive it straight through.

We've stayed between 5 days and 8 days. We did the 5 days when my oldest was 20 months. 7 days when I had a 2.5 yo and 8 month old baby. And then 8 days when our oldest 2 were 4 and 2. They did great on all the trips at every age :)

We've done as short as 3 nights and as many as 14. We tend to go for somewhere between 8-10 nights on average. It's so much work to either drive or fly with the kids we need enough time there to make the effort worth it since the travel days whip us all.

Just the 2 of us we'd be able to fly down early run, run, run fly home in a weekend. Those days are done for a while. We're 9 nights our next trip and take a much more relaxed pace.
