How long do you think the waiting lists will be for each resort?

That would be even better, I'm most concerned about losing my place in line but would love to get the same price. I guess I will find out soon, only a little over a month until I'm at 6 months.

I also called my guide and he said just the opposite - the old price will only be held for 6 months. After that, the price goes up. Could someone please clarify.

My guide said "as long as it takes" to fufill the list. Just double checked, no mention of being kicked off at 6 months, or price increase. That said...it hasn't moved at all for my resort and UY in over 2 months. My strong suspicion at this point is it won't, until December as if they had reacquired any contracts with 2012 points, there would have been movement. It will be interesting to see come 12/1 if the list all of a sudden has activity.

Now I have to decide what to do. I'll probably just stay on the list to see what happens but have to figure out how to handle the 2 ressies I'd hoped to make in Sept and Oct.

The long as it takes simply means according to my guide I don't lose my place in line at 6 months, we are almost at 5. They fufill in order as long as the points match up with what they have so a larger one could actually take longer or be harder for them to fulfill, supposedly there are 320 points ahead of me, several people so I imagine most are on the smaller side. We want 105. I've not seen anything in resale that size or smaller for my UY.

I have been on the wait list from 3/4/13 for 25 points at BCV (Oct. U.Y.) at the old price of $115.00/pt. Have not heard anything positive from my Guide and do not expect to as my 6 months will be up on 9/4/13. I realize prices are going up at warp speed (just saw one BCV contract sell for $110.00/pt and it was stripped of 2013 points) but have decided to wait 1 more week and then have my name taken off the list as I do not want to pay the new price of $130.00/pt.

Any thoughts about staying on the list after the 6 months price lock is gone?

Yes, we have. Wait listed for 60 Boardwalk April UY points mid may. Came through Saturday. Yea! Now we can do one bedrooms when we want to!

I had to wait for BCV points around 4 years ago, when I was in the market. It's not easy to wait, is it?

And our guide (whom I called on Friday) said that we are #4 on the list their are 3 people ahead of us for an Sept use year and same with Oct . I told him I hope we get them before Nov because that is our 11month window. I then asked him if it goes after the 6 months for the old price does that mean we have to pay the new price and he goes no we have the old price locked in . I just hope we get them before Nov.
