We were at Disney from 1-2 to 1-16 last year. The xmas decorations were up the ENTIRE time and xmas music was playing at Epcot. I cant tell you how annoying it was to be 3 weeks after Xmas, and still hearing and seeing music and decorations. We even asked the admission folks at entrance, and they were surprised they were still up so late.
I am hoping to do the 2008 Marathon in Jan and I was hoping to see some decorations. Xmas is the only season I have missed at Disney and would love to see it.

I'm with you! Due to school schedules we have to go the first week of January. We want to hear Zip-a-dee-doo-dah ... not "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas." And we don't need to see Christmas trees and wreaths all over the place then either.
The special "Jingle Jungle" parade at AK runs through Jan 6th (we will be there that day- looking forward to seeing it). The Osborne Lights run through the 7th- we'll be there on the 5th. I am happy to see most of the Christmas decorations- DH never gets vacation in December, so we don't get to WDW then.
