How long do the light up balloons last?

We're going next week and I want to get the Mickey light up balloons for my kids. Will they last a few days or does the light only last one night? Thanks.

We have a couple cast members on the boards, and the one that works in outdoor vending seemed to indicate that while the light might last (it has an off/on switch), the actual balloon might be messed up by the heat.

And I know that the normal balloon in balloon ones get weird from major heat..Mickey's ears deflated halfway and looked really funny (my nursing son looked at them hungrily, let's put it that way, LOL).

So protect it from the heat!

I don't have an answer to your question. Just wanted to say that on our last trip someone's balloon accidentally got away from them, and it looked really neat floating away in the night sky. Anyone not familiar with them, especially once it leaves the park would totally think it was a UFO or something like that .

Don't quote me on this but I thought I heard the light would last 2 weeks. However I doubt the balloon would last that long.

the balloon can last up to almost 2 weeks, but at most 2 weeks. it varies by the weather as well.

As for the light, its battery powered so i can last you forever. the batteries can be interchangeable.

They also seem to be made of stronger stuff. One was caught under the tram while we were there and everyone was waiting for a loud pop, but it didn't.

We bought one in the end of june and it lasted about 9 days and we finally had to pop it to go home. I was so sad We pulled the light thingy out and are going to try to one day put it in another balloon. We also saved the balloon and are going to try to refill that one also. I was amazed at how long it lasted so I guess the $12 isn't so bad. It's a pretty dang cool balloon and I'd buy it again in a heartbeat, if only I was in Disneyland right now, sob sob

Balloon A 1 Day -- save the light up thingy -- makes a great Harry Potter wand. Also, if you can remember where it is when Halloween rolls around, we think it can be used in Halloween decorations.
