How long did you wait this morning?

I'm just curious to see how long everyone waited for their AP rates on the phone this morning. I clocked in at just under 2 hours and was told the computers were down when I got through. Luckily, the cm called me back about 5 minutes later and I got the ressie I wanted . So, can anyone beat 2 hours?

I "only" waited 49 minutes to get my rate. I guess I am one of the lucky ones.

Good thing I have unlimited calling on long distance.

But I did hang up a few times and call back. I just hung up a few minutes ago and decided to give it one more shot. But I'm about to really call it quits. This is just going to be a waste of my time since there's nothing left at AKL anyway...

I didn't have to wait at all! I was surprised. A rep picked up right away after I got through the voice prompts. That's gotta be a sign that we're going to have a GREAT vacation!!!

Well, if you add up DW's hour and something plus my own hour and ten minutes before I gave up, and the fact that when DW got through she didn't get what I wanted, lol, we're not done yet.

Here's my rundown:

Started calling at 7:04. First six tries, I got annoying beeps and "We're sorry, all circuits busy right now .....". Next call, I got to the menu system but no hold music started, just rang and rang about 30 times before I gave up. Then I started my 1st "real" call .........

1st call: started 7:10, hung up at 9:00 after 1 hour and 50 minutes on hold! Used 407 number.

2nd call: started at 8:56 on cell phone, using 407 number. I got through around 9:40, after roughly 44 minutes on hold.

3rd call: started at 9:15 on the 1-800 number. Hung this up when 2nd call came through!

It was worth it!!! I got AKL, for only about $150 more than what we would have paid at POR!!! Queen beds and safari animals, here we come!!!

71 minutes start to finish (i.e. hanging up with the CRO cast member). Technically I didn't save any money, but we upgraded from POP to POFQ for only a couple of dollars more so it was definitely worth it!

I have to admitt...I hit it just right! I called at 659am this morning...got right thru and no hold! I was her first call of the day! got my AP rates...done by 10 past 7!!

I was also calling from Denver at 7 am Mountain time...after voice prompts it rang three times and the CM said "Good morning"!

I WAS ONE OF THE LUCKY ONES!! GOT RIGHT THROUGH AT 7:00 A.M. CM SAID I WAS HIS FIRST CALLER. HE WAS REALLY NICE. HIS NAME WAS KINCAID. WHAT A WAY TO START OFF THE DAY.

After near 2 hours and several calls to different lines, I finally got through and got AKL for 139 + tax for standard view.

Not that I don't love Pop Century, but since we were given free airfare this time, we figured it would be a good chance to try something we normally would not splurge on...

Just got off the phone after waiting 25 minutes on hold. Got my POP AP rate for June 9-18th!!
