How long did you lurk on the CB...

not too long, because I was hanging out on the Resort Board with some new friends and we got .......er,um.........."moved" to the CB

Not too long. I started out on the pin-collectors board almost 3 years ago...and jumped right in here a couple of days afterwards

I still feel like I'm lurking...although I jump in here and there. It's a friendly group -- I'm just on the shy side most of the time. I enjoy reading alot of the posts though.

I probably lurked for about a week or so. When I first found the boards I was planning my first WDW trip so I spent much more time on the trip boards.

In between planning trips (like now) I usually just hit the CB and DB. Occassionally I stop by the cruise board and lurk because I would love to go on DCL sometime in the future.

I lurked for about 6 months before I joined in. I thought everyone on the CB was nuts!

I was right.

I float all over the boards. I mostly lurk on the other boards, but I post if I have questions or I can help someone. I hang out on the CB all the time. I guess that means I'm ..................................

Not long at all...I started out in the chat room first! I hardly ever posted the first month I was here, it was just chat everynight, then when I decided to post, it was on the CB and I jumped right in since I knew everyone from chat! LOL

Back then, chat was the place to be! Everyone went each night and it was so much fun!!

In the past 3 years here, I have made many friends I basically stay and post on the CB, but will occassionally lurk the other boards...generally if looking for specific WDW information. I dont go back to the pin boards simply because I'm not a 'trader', and I only collect when I have actual park -time opportunity these days

I found the trip planning boards... and lurked only 1 day before registering ... so I could ask some questions. I got "moved" to the CB along with a post... and that is how I ended up here. I regularly post here, on the WISH board, and at the Flower & Garden board.... I also post and lurk on the trip planning boards... when I am putting together an upcoming trip. Being a seasoned WDW traveler now... I find though that I am more of a responder to other's questions, than an initiator anymore.

Signed up on the DIS back in early '99 to ask a question on the planning board for our first WDW trip late that year. Don't recall how I came to the CB. Once I did, I have spent most of my time here. Had a moderator stint here for a time, but no longer. I visit the planning boards when getting ready for a trip, maybe a month prior, and infrequently pop up to a few of them at other times. I am still scared to post.

When I found the place a long time ago (well over 4 years now) I was able to just jump right in. After my June '99 trip I finally decided to look at the CB and the IB. I posted on both and then decided about August I needed a DIS break (college got in the way). I came back and after and decided to check out the CB and I posted immediately. It took a while though for me to post the way I do now, as I was a lurker in general. Just over a year ago I became much more involved with the DIS and decided that the CB was my home. I rarely venture anywhere else on the DIS now.

I started out on the Universal/IOA board after finding these boards when it was all on one page! I remember kicking myself for paying so much for a package and THEN finding these boards!

I was linked to the CB and just LOVED the cameraderie here. I was mostly attached to the then moderator, Dan Murphy. There was something about his kindness and the way he seemed to remember everyone's name that made me feel very comfortable. It's a Dale Carnegie trait that hooks people! Well, it hooked me!

I don't remember how long I lurked before jumping in, not long I would assume because I like to talk! It's been a wonderful three years here!

I was registered for over a year and a half before I started posting regularly on the CB.

I usually only posted on the DVC and transportation boards, then started about 3 months ago on the CB.Now I am all over the place(Debate,Theme Parks,DCL,Technical,Resorts,etc)
