dh and i were together for 7 years to the day! Really *** I was only 15 when we first met, so we couldn't have got married. been married now for just over a year.

We dated for 7 years too. I was 16 when we met. We will be married 20 years this September.

It was the same for my parents, and they made it to 52 years before my Dad passed away.

DH and I joke that we were on the fast track. We met in April of 06, got engaged in Feb of 07 (9 months), then we got married in Sept of 07 (7 months), got pregnant in April of 08 (7 months) and had our first daughter in Jan of 09. I was pregnant when we went out for our 1 year anniversary. Lots of people did a little double take when they asked how many years we'd been married. haha Now we are going to be having our second child shortly after our 3 year anniversary.

We started dating Jr. year of college. He had 4 more years of post graduate school after graduation. We waited to get married as he was in school full time, and I was working full time while going to school part time for my masters degree.

DH and I met August 2001 (first day of college), started dating December 2002, engaged December 2004, and got married July 2006. We're coming up on our 4th anniversary this summer (right before our first child is due!).

My parents on the other hand- met over Labor Day, got engaged at Thanksgiving, secretly got married day after Valentine's (thought my dad was going to be deployed) and had the big wedding in July. They're celebrating 30 years this summer!

DH and i met in 2002, we got engaged in 2005, and we got married in 2008

we only met when i was 18, and i didn't even want to be ENGAGED that young let alone married. i got engaged finally when i was 21 and even then i told DH "i still feel too young, so let's wait a bit" so we finally waited until i was 24 and i felt that was the right time.

i'm always kind of..idk if "amazed" is the word, but when people haven't even been together for a year and get engaged. i feel like you don't even really KNOW that person yet at least until after a year of knowing them.
