Hi

How long did you allow for photos before and after your ceremony?

I was planning on having a meal at Il Mulino a few hours after the ceremony, and popping back to my parents villa for drinks before the meal. However, due to the new minimum expenditure for an Escape plus DP we may have to do a lunch straight after the ceremony, so that would obviously cut down on the amount of photo time

TIA

This is a good question!

I will also await the replies!:thumbsup2

Also looking for answers to this as we have changed our intial plans and are now thinking a 12pm ceremoney with lunch at the Napa room to finish by 4pm and am worried it would be tight trying to fit that in with having photos done before lunch reception.

We didn't want to leave our guests to take photos between the ceremony and reception, so we took 90% of our couple pix before the ceremony. I allotted about 2 hours for this, including the photographers meeting me at my room, shooting my "first look" with DH, and taking pictures in Epcot before the ceremony.

After the ceremony we spent about 15 or 20 minutes taking portraits with each guest and then we all traveled to the ceremony. After the reception, the photographers took more pix of us around the BoardWalk. So... it was plenty of time!

We are allowing about half an hour for family pictures after the ceremony and about an hour for our bride/groom pictures after our champagne celebration at the Commander's terrace. So I guess about 1.5 hours total. We are having our guests enjoy a cocktail hour at Mizner's Lounge, go back to their rooms, or explore on their own while we take pictures for an hour before our dinner reservation at Citricos. Hope that helps!

Like Wendy, we are allotting about 30 minutes after ceremony for family shots and then about 1.5 for DF and I to get some shots on the boardwalk and at the Polynesian Resort before lunch. Our Ceremony is from 10-11 and I made lunch ressies at 1:40.

Thanks everyone :thumbsup2 I wasn't really sure how long we'd need at all so you've really helped! xx
