DS2 seems to have recovered from his croop. DS1 isn't coughing but is sleeping on the sofa - very odd for a 9 year old boy in the middle of the afternoon. DH has slept all weekend & missed 2 days of work this week. I have been down & out since last Fri. What is this bug & when can we expect it to end?

I am into my second day. I am feeling better but still a little queasy. Plus I want nothing and I mean nothing to eat!!!

I missed 4 days of work last week. Feeling good enough today to go to the store, but it wiped me out. DD was feeling better on Thursday and then worse again on Friday.

It seems never ending....

it took me a little over two weeks to shake it completely.

We've got it in Illinois too !

What's bad is that the whole family ends up getting it in some combination.
Took me 10 days; my hubby one week, and luckily both our teen agers got mild forms--maybe built up an immunity from sick parents.

Hang in there....getting LOTS of sleep seemed to be the best thing.

mom2boys yes it is odd!!! My 11yodd laid on the couch for 6 days with a fever...it took 2 weeks after that before she starting looking like herself again.
