How long did it take you to eat at Via Napoli?

Trying to figure out when to make an ADR for. For info purposes: we are going in June, we will be returning around 5 from a midday break and we will want to see Illuminations. I was thinking of making the ADR around 5:30 but I'm thinking we may finish a few things in FW that night so it may be better to make the ADR a little later so we can hit one or two things on the way in, but I also want to leave enough time to get a good spot for Illuminations.

Thanks, in advance!

I would generally allow between 60 and 75 minutes for most in-park, non-Signature meals, but it does depend on how many courses you order, how big your party is, etc. I'd probably book the ADR for somewhere around 90 minutes before you want to be walking out of the restaurant (just to be safe).

Does that 90 minutes include the quick jaunt to Karamel Kuche to get a snack for Illuminations? Cause you have to have the have to have stuff. :tigger:

Thank you. We'll have 2 adults and 2 boys age 5 & 3. So probably around 6:45-7ish, I'm thinking, to have enough time to get a spot for Illuminations. Maybe have someone save the spot while another runs to KK for some snacks to bring back and enjoy, @Tigger's ally ?? ;)

I've eaten at Via Napoli a few times. It usually takes us about an hour. Really, I would allow for more than that because you may have to wait for a table, service could be slower than usual, etc.

We were seated at 9:10pm and still managed to get a pretty decent Illuminations view at 9:50pm (it was a 10pm show that night). But our server did rush, he took dessert orders before I had fully finished my pizza, but we were happy to rush as we wanted to get out for Illuminations. It was our arrival night and therefore we were eating later than we wanted to really due to queues at immigration at the airport.

So allow an hour to an hour and a half. So for a 9pm Illuminations, you want to try and find space to watch it by 8:30 really so you want a reservation before 7pm.
