How long did it take to get your Disney VISA card?

Hi there--

I signed up for the Disney VISA card about 10 days ago, using a link from this website that had the $50. worth of Disney dollars bonus.

I haven't heard a thing from anyone--not even a follow-up phone call to verify information.

Is this normal? Or did you have a different experience? I'm wondering if the card is just going to show up --poof!-- one day, or if something is messed up and I should call.

I don't think your card will show up like that! My husband applied for the Disney Visa Card and it took 30 days to receive a letter in the mail stating that he was denied!

You probably won't receive a call unless something was wrong with your application. Just check your mail daily and give it another week or two. Hopefully you'll open an envelope with your Disney Visa Card and not a denied letter....

I got mine at the beginning of the year, it probably took under 2 weeks. I have a Bank One account though, and when I logged on, I was able to see the Disney Visa card account on it within 3 or 4 days of application, way before I got the card.

DH just applied with the $50 reward link on 9/27, and he got ithe card yesterday, so that was 10 days.

I applied about month and a half ago and I got the card about 2 weeks ago. So... I am saying about a month to get.
I have not received my 1st statement so I have not seen if the $50 rewards is there. I also applied on the $50.00 rewards website so hopefully all will be well.

I called and applied over the phone about 2 weeks ago not knowing about the $50 reward bonus. I was just thinking yesterday that I hadn't heard anything either and was going to call. I never got around to it and I just now opened my mail and..POOF...there it was. No call, no letter, no nothing. It just showed up. I am shocked that I was approved because I have no proof of my income(I babysit kids and get paid all cash$$). But they approved me for $2000.

Does anyone know if I can still get the $50 rewards applied to my card?

I would say give it about 2-6 weeks before you start to freak out about not getting it. I know it is a hastle because you want to use it NOW (I had the same urge) but they take time to send it to you.

If you already know you are approved you can possibly call of Customer Service and give them a story about you going on a trip and need ASAP... THey would usually send it out priorty next day or 2 day mail. I had this happen when I got my Disney visa card embossed with Disney Vacation Club.
