how long can you sit at buffet TS ?

I have ADR"s for Akershus , Ohana, and Tusker house. My kids are pretty slow eaters, and well my husband just eats ALOT. Is there a time limit on when you must leave the buffet TS? Do they stop coming to your table or *gasp* ask you to leave? I'm not planning on camping out , but I dont like feeling rushed out

Well there's no time limit, I'm sure. But I think once the characters / princesses / whatever have all made their rounds and started around again, you might just feel like it's time to get up and go.

We had a longish breakfast at 1900 Park Fair once and once the same characters were coming back to our table again, we felt it was appropriate to finish up and go.

But no one is going to kick you out if you're still eating.

I've sat at Biergarten for over 2 hours. It was a long time ago. I can't drink that much beer anymore.

When we went last May with our son and dil and two grandkids......age 4 and 6 ..they are wicked slow eaters and we were there for a good hour and a half...We ate and the kids saw the characters and we had our photos and that was it.
Dont worry about your little one being a slow eater....

Don't worry! If Disney did have time restraints associated with their buffets (which they don't) they would absolutely have to be more lenient with the character buffets. I'm a fast eater and I felt like my breakfast at Cape May took forever because everyone stopped eating and stood up every time the characters came to take pictures with them, interact, etc. And we were a group of adults!

Thanks everyone!! I think if it wasnt for the fact I have my family on such a rigid schedule my hubby would sit and eat all day (dont worry he works it all off) SOOO looking forward to Dis food

We have stayed a long time and never felt rushed. I do remember at CP on the second time around the Characters just sorta waved when they came by our table which was only fair and fine by us.

I cant see them rushing you guys out if your still eating!! I have never had a problem (or even thought about it really) with the time limits or some sort of restrictions. Just enjoy your meals

I say take your time and stay as long as you wish, they will not chase you out. However, I would suggest that if your server treated you well, be sensitive to the fact they are not able to turn that table over to someone new, and tip them fairly. Not trying to stir the pot here.
