How long before MK opens does the boat start running from FW?

I want to be there for rope drop, but first I will have to get tickets using my GAD vouchers. I plan to be there in November. I am trying to figure out if this will work or if we should just drive to MK that morning.

we had ressi for cinderella breakfast in july last year at 8:15 and took the boat over to MK I think we got on the boat at 7:30.

I believe that the boat to MK runs a 1/2 before opening and the boat to Contemporary an hour before. I am not sure. So I am going to do some research to make sure.

Ok. The experts say 45-hour before opening at MK. Do you have to take your voucher to a the TTC ? For military ones, we have to go to a ticket window to get the actual ticket. So we took the boat to CR, then monorail to the TTC. Then Monorail to MK. We got on the boat 1 hour before opening. We were able to do all of that and be there for Rope drop.

My recommendation would be to take the small launch over to the Contemporary, then walk over to Magic Kingdom. The small launch starts at 6:45 am.

I was at the MK this past Saturday, and the line for the GAD vouchers was HUGE. Folks were saying it was taking up to three hours to cash in their vouchers. (Of course it was the first nice Saturday of the year.) By November, things will have slimmed down considerably.
