We purchased the park tickets online for our upcoming trip, including one for my dad. But he had a car accident recently and so is not going to be able to come with us. Can we just hold on to the voucher, or is is transferable?

Depending on what type of ticket you purchased, he could hang onto the voucher until he's able to enjoy himself. If you purchased the seven day unlimited "special" tickets, they do not expire until you activate them at the gate so you're good.
