I am curious as to how long the wedding lasts. We are planning on renewing our vows, having an Intimate wedding. I heard the ceremony is only 15 mins? How long do they give you for the cake?

I also need advice on a timetable. If we are having the vow renewal at Seabreeze point at the BW, we are thinking of 3pm. Then maybe dinner at Spoodles, followed by a WISHES cruise on the Grand1. What time would I book the dinner? Woud we have enough time to get to the GF for the cruise after dinner? This would be in Nov. and I believe WISHES is usually at 7pm. Is it crazy to have the wedding cake and then dinner?

We had an intimate wedding at SBP last March at 3:00 pm. I think it was about 4:30 by the time we headed back to the Boardwalk after the ceremony, cake, pictures and dance. You only have a small amount of cake and actually Rick and I only had a few bites. We were hungry by the time dinner was served. We had a 5:30 ps at Yachtsman Steakhouse for 11 of us. We left the restaurant at 8:00 pm. I think trying to make it to the GF for the fireworks would rush dinner.

I renewed my vows with a Custom Vow Renewal last October. Our ceremony was approximately 15 minutes long inside the Wedding Pavilion. We took photos inside and outside the Wedding Pavilion for about 45 minutes to an hour afterwards.

I think our timeline went as follows:
6:00 PM -- photos inside & outside the Grand Floridian Resort
7:30 PM -- head to Wedding Pavilion
8:00 PM -- ceremony inside the Wedding Pavilion
8:20 PM -- photos inside & outside the Wedding Pavilion
9:15 PM -- head to Disney-MGM Studios
9:30 PM -- arrive at Disney-MGM Studios for dinner party

Our actual wedding at SBP only lasted about 15 minutes, but we took a lot of time for cake cutting, toasts and pictures. We also had some extra things like fruit and cheese for our guests. The wedding started at 5 and we had just enough time for two limo shifts to bring everyone to California Grill in time for our 7:20 PS. We did, however, only have the cake-cutting at the wedding, but had it transported to CG for dessert. We took two hours for dinner, but we had a loooong dinner with family. I think you will do ok to have dinner around 5.
