How long are dvd's available?

Before they put them "back in the vault"...

I rarely buy dvd's - it seems like every time we did, ds stopped watching them as soon as we gave in and bought them. But, I'm considering getting Peter Pan for dd's birthday (or at least, putting it on her list for someone else to buy.) It came out 3/6/2007 - how much longer should it be available?

I was never one to join "CLUBS". I have done childrens book clubs and hated it but I'm a member of the disney movie club and LOVE it . I've only been a member for 2 months and only have to buy one more to fullfil my membership. They usually let you know when the movie is going back in the vault I think the latest one was cinderella. I'm waiting for beauty and the beast and snow white to come back out . I'm pretty sure the website is disneymovieclub.com

I'm in the club too and have hated it. I bought my last movies Jan 30 (Cinderella 2, Aladdin 2 & 3 b/c they were going into the vault.) When they arrived Sat I got Aladdin 1, 2 & 3 not Cinderella 2. Honest mistake I'm sure but that wasn't my first problem. My original order I bought Lilo & Stitch. The DVD was missing from the box. I called & they said they would replace it. I never recieved it. Even after calling again 2 weeks after it was shipped. I guess we will see if my copy of Cinderella 2 really shows up. I'm sure the pre-paid return label for Aladdin will though.

I thought Peter Pan went into the vault on Jan 31st??? Check your local Walmart to see if they have it, ours didn't.

Oh, I really don't know, I just know that when I bought ours right before Christmas, a lady was saying that she had a few Disney movies to buy that were going in on 1-31 and Peter Pan was one of them....I was at Walmart over the weekend and they didn't have anymore, I was actually looking for Little Mermaid 2, and I thought about picking up Peter Pan for my nephews. I may have incorrect info.
