I dont unpack for a 2 night stay. Sometimes I stay 2 nights at a cheaper resort before I change to DVC. I do unpack for a 5 night stay. This upcoming vacation I have 4 night, 4 night and then 5 night.

How about you? How many night stay before you unpack?

I know I'm in the minority, but we stayed 6 nights last time and I didn't unpack. I didn't want to waste time doing it and it was just easier pulling an outfit out of the suitcase. We kept a big bag for dirty clothes.

A permanent move:lmao:

I don't unpack...
I might just grab 1 or 2 easy wrinkle items and hang em....thats it.

I used to never unpack, but after going on my first cruise & being forced to unpack, I found that I now LOVE to unpack. It just feels so much better. I fell like I'm staying for a while & not on vacation, especially at a DVC resort.

We never unpack. When I pack I put outfits together so they can be easily taken out of the suitcases. We also have alot of hanger clothes. Thank goodness we drive down.

Hhmmm....I always unpack, I must be strange.
I like to grab thinks QuIcK~~!! And get back to the magic.
 :thumbsup2

I always unpack no matter how many days I am staying. For people who don't unpack don't your clothes get wrinkled and all messed up in the luggage? I know mine would. I like having everything all neat in the drawers.

If it's just a short trip (4 days or less), I don't usually unpack everything. I do like to hang my shirts though as they always seem to get all smushed and have lots of creases.

Our trips to WDW started out short and over the years have become 10 days. I have found that I just feel better and the room doesn't seem as cluttered when I unpack my suitcases.

I have to unpack or I don't feel "at home." I hate living out of a suitcase. It doesn't take that long anyway and it gives me a chance to unwind.

The only thing that I unpack is the toiletries. Everything else stays in the suitcase, no matter how long we stay.

I always unpack. That way I can get out clothes and make sure they aren't wrinkled for the next day. I then use the suitcase to toss in my dirty laundry

I never unpack. I don't want to feel "at home" on vacation - I want to feel on vacation!!  I will hang up dresses and skirts, though. :hippie:

I don't unpack, I will put a few things on hangers, but it always seems that I end up ironing anyway. I do unpack my toiletries, though. The only thing I put in a drawer is my pj's so I avoid digging through my suitcase for them.

I drive my family bonkers, but I unpack - for all of us! I must be crazy but I like to make my "nest". Can't stand living out of a suitcase, tripping over them, searching for stuff at the bottom - UGH. Especially if there's 5 of us.:hippie:

C'mon, it takes 5 min to unpack and settle in, 10 min if you're slow.

I always unpack, even on a short weekend trip. I love the feeling of "moving in" to my Disney resort! :goodvibes

We always unpack if more than 2 nights at one resort (to me it just makes it seem more like home and my stuff DOES wrinkle. I must be doing something wrong.)

Last year, we were at the Beach Club in a Waterview room and after the first night we realized that we were in a room with double beds. I went down to the front dest and asked if I was imagining it and was told no that that was a double room. I explained very nicely that I chose that resort specifically because I desired queen size beds and I felt in part that is what I was paying for. The girl was very sweet, made a phone call and asked if we would like to move. She gave me the key to an unoccupied room and asked if I would check it out and see if it would be acceptable. I did and went back and told her is was fine (the room was GREAT!). She said she would have bell services up to our old room to pick up our luggage and transfer it to the new room. Then I had to go tell DH & DD that we were in fact given a double room and we could move if we wanted to - I told them I had seen the room and it was well worth the effort.

POINT OF THE STORY
You never saw 3 people throw things BACK into their suitcases so fast. It was like a whirlwind. I never thought it could be done so quickly considering it takes me forever to pack back up at the end of a trip but boy, when you are motivated, there is no limit to what can be done!!!:rotfl:

I've never unpacked on holiday before. We always live out of our suitcases. In saying that, we are going for four weeks this time so I will be unpacking for the first time.

I rarely unpack. It just seems like an extra step. Toiletries come out and shoes, but clothes stay in the suitcase. They don't get any more wrinkled folded in the suitcase then they would folded in the drawer. :confused3 Also, there isn't enough room in the drawers for all five of us to unpack.

I even unpack for an overnight stay in a hotel. I never used to do that but found that I LOVE the feeling like I am settled in. It only takes a couple minutes and the ease of knowing where everything is and if I am missing anything (i.e.; forgot to pack stuff) puts my mind at ease and helps me sleep better.
