How likely is this?

My DH and I have a 1 bedroom reserved at SSR (our home) for Oct. 17-30. While discussing our vacation the other night, my DH mentioned that he thought it would be great to stay in the Epcot area - specifically BCV. I know that this is a popular time especially at the Epcot resorts due to the Food and Wine Festival.

Would it be possible to call the 30th of March to see about moving over or should I be calling day-by-day? What do you guys think? He is not interested in changing resort during the stay so it would be an "all or nothing" situation.

I could always call on the 17th to see what the availability looks like, but figured it would be easiest to just call on the 30th.

Any opinions or insight? :Pinkbounc

I wondered about that for BWV during the last week of may. I didn't have time so I waited until the 7 month window opened for the whole week. My wait list cleared after six weeks -- including the Fri and Sat of Memorial Day weekend.

If you're busy, I'd just call for the whole week at once. If you don't get BCV, so what?

You shouldn't have much trouble if you aren't particular about type of accommodations. I rent my points out in the summer for people who are attending the food and wine Festival, and I haven't had any trouble yet, except that standard view at BWV are always booked at 11 months.

We just tried to get a Boardwalk view studio for the first week of October but they were all booked. So we took a studio at our home resort, BCV instead.
