How likely is it to reach capacity October 21-22?

More specifically on October 21, as we won't arrive until mid afternoon October 21.

It seems a lot people (UEA,etc) will be there that day, and it's not blocked for deluxe or signature holders, which will add to the crowd, and I'd guess most local private parties (e.g., not at Disneyland/DCA) will be the next weekend, which may mean even more people will be there that weekend.

So, how likely is it? How often does Disneyland or DCA reach capacity?

I have a dining reservation/fantasmic package on Oct 21; I'm thinking I should move it to another day if I can, and when we get there make a determination to go depending on how crowded it is (we'll be there through Thursday, and to MHP on Tuesday, so we do have other times to go without fighting the crowds). I also have the Skyline lounge experience for Sunday, but am less worried about that as we can get to the parks earlier.

Any thoughts/insights greatly appreciated.

I don't think you have to worry. Besides Christmas/NY week and the 24 hour event I can't remember another time that Disneyland closed because it reached capacity.

I doubt it will close to capacity. But, we will be there!

Not at all likely. The only times (in recent history/memory) it has closed for capacity is during really special events like the 24 hour party or during Christmas/NYE, etc. Hope you have a wonderful trip!

As others have said, DL doesn't actually reach capacity closure levels very often. More often, the parking structure closes for a while, but the parks are still admitting guests.

Not likely. Especially to the level where you can't get in with a dining reservation. But it has actually happened in the last year on the last weekend Of that so cal ticket deal

It will be crowded for sure. We'll be among the many. But since Fantasmic is only running on the weekends, your only other option would be to do it on the 22nd.
