How likely is it to get DGC reservation?

So DD invites us to DL to see Avengers . We are all gung ho to go. She wants to stay at Grand Californian. We all would! But I hear that it’s virtually impossible to book it at 7 months out.

what are the possibilities? We are looking at Winter or Easter breaks.

I assume you mean booking on DVC points?
I can't answer that, but I just saw it for the week before Christmas on a hotels site, if you wanted to take that route.

Studios at VGC (Villas Grand Californian) are difficult to book at 7 months, but 1 or 2 bedroom villas are possible
