We are checking into the WL in just 15 days! :cool1:

I have a reservation our first night at WCC. My BFF's flight lands a little over an hour before our ADR (I'm picking her up at the airport) and I can't get a later ADR until so late my kids will sleep on the table. So--as long as things go perfectly we'll be fine. But, if the flight is delayed/traffic is bad, at what point will they give up on us if we are running late? Do we get a little more leeway since it is a resort restaurant and not a park? If I go by the podium earlier that day, can I leave a note?

It is up to the restaurant and how busy they are. But in general, you are considered a No Show after 15 minutes.
Good Luck

What time is your ADR? We had a 8:15 ADR and checked in a little early but weren't seated until about 8:40. I would think if you notified them earlier so they know you will be showing up, and especially if they are running behind like they were when we were there, they would work with you.

I can only speak about Boma since it's the only place it happened to us. We were about 18 minutes late for an 8:00 reservation. They would not seat us. They were willing to put us on standby, which we took, and were seated over 2 hours later at 10:20. By that time, the restaurant was almost completely empty. Luckily, we got a spot in the Victoria Falls bar for our wait and since we were adults only, it wasn't that big of a deal.
