How late does the music play at DTD?

Hello! I'm considering switching my DTD view room to a pool view because of the music coming from DTD. How late would the music go on an October weekend?

It plays far beyond what I liked. I could hear it from my pool view room in the Western tower at DLH. Earplugs helped.

Note - the information below is based on trips taken in 2009 and 2011 where we stayed at the Grand Californian, so it may be outdated.

Music is broadcast or played live in DTD throughout the day and late into the evening. I can't remember if it played after 11 pm when we were there, but I wouldn't be surprised if it does so now, especially on the weekends. Although the sound is muffled when the balcony door is closed, you can still hear it in the room.

If you have any light sleepers in your party, I would recommend staying away from the rooms that overlook Downtown Disney.

I had a pool-view room once on a higher floor (maybe 5th floor) on the DVC villas side, and noise was not a problem at all. Not sure how the rooms are that face the main pool, hopefully someone else can speak to that.

I don't remember specifically if it did or not, but I know it was past 10 p.m. FWIW, I have exceptionally good hearing and notice repetitive bass beats easily. It was annoying, but again, I am easily annoyed by that stuff, LOL.

We had a DTD view at the GCH last year (and 2 years prior to that) and I have to be honest that if the music was playing, it didn't bother any of us. And I'm a very light sleeper.

I stayed at GC twice when it first opened and the music played until 2 am. It may have changed, but I don't stay there anymore just because of the noise factor. I go to the dl hotel and don't have noise issues.

We stayed at DLH back in May 2013 on the fourth floor of the Adventure Tower, facing DTD. I remember being able to hear the music. I'm pretty sure it was stopped by 10pm on weeknights. Weekends though, it went till around Midnight from memory.

A few years ago, when I called the front desk to ask about the noise from DTD , I was told that it goes on until 10pm , but that was a weekday. I told them that it was unacceptable, and they moved us to a courtyard view,which is very quiet.

It`s the deep base sound and beats that really travel.
