How late do you sleep on cruise?

We get 2 staterooms....one for myself and DW and one for DDs 15 and 13. Our cat. 6 is perfect for waking up at 6:30 getting a bloody mary and coffee and watching the ship dock.......on sea days we definately sleep in. 8:30 or so.......DDs have a cat. 11 inside....we call it "the cave". It is not uncommon for them to sleep till noon on sea days......it is a vacation......but, on the Eastern you have that "immigration" check in at 7:30 on a sea day..........YUCK!!!

Unfortunately vacation or not, working or not - my body is like an alarm clock. I start to wake up anytime from 5 am on. Once my mind is awake (cannot necessarily open my eyes), I can't stay in bed much. While everyone is sleeping, I put a wash in (yes - hate to do it, but perfect time), go for a walk, get coffee and go back to place wash in dryer. I obvioudly can't stay up late :confused3 - Dh is usually right behind me - kids is another story :teeth:

Anna, like you I get up early and get moving. My body does not allow me to sleep. But I stay up rather late, too. My body will not know whether I am on vacation or not.

And as we are on the July 2 cruise myabe we will possibly see each other early in the morning. I will be up having coffee.
