How Late Do you DIS ??? Dis @ Nite!!!

You know something is wrong when you call your DBF at WORK because you can't sleep at 4:30am and wake him up from a peaceful slumber. 
At least he answered his phone in a drowsy panic "Baaaaaby whats wrong?????"
If you are wondering how he can sleep at work, he works 7pm to 5am as a paramedic and can sleep/doze if there are no runs. It's only a cushy job on some nights the other nights he is up all night playing "superman". Besides, he is at work between 60 and 80 hours a week (different locations so little OT).

Hey, today UPS came. They delivered a huge package for my son. I opened it to see what it was. He won a contest from Amtrak. lol When we were on the Auto Train this summer he wrote a letter on why he liked taking the train. And, I guess he won!!
It was a really nice LE Polar Express cast iron train set, blows horns and whistles and also blows smoke! He was so excited. i'll have to take a picture of it.
Nothing else new here. What is going on with you all?

Cheryl that is so cool!!! You all must be so excited just to have won something. I know I get that way. Even if someone I know wins I get excited. lol Like now!!

Myself: I'm ...err...one sheet to the wind because I actually yelled at my in-laws tonight. Yes they deserved it (my mom agreed and she would never agree with me yelling at my "elders" unless very justified) but now I want to cry because it's just not like me to do that.

Yes, we were all very excited!! They said he was chosen out of thousand's of entires. They had 14 first place winners. Winners were judged on content and originality by a panel of Amtrak judges.
We never win anything!!
Anyway {{{Msyt}}} sorry about your fight with the inlaws. It isn't easy.
I had a similar situation happen to me last year. It's never been the same since. And, I was also raised like you, not to yell at my elders.
I guess these things happen. I wish I had apologized earlier than I did, even though I was right
So, maybe take the high road and apologize, so it doesn't get bad down the road. (JMO not knowing the situation either) Good luck.

at home... I made the turkey, raspberry apple stuffing, corn, mac and cheese, candied apples and yum and corn bread and sweet soup!!! The house smell likes holiday !!! I hanged my 1st xmas thingie...
