Me too Myst.

Just an FYI on me.........

I have my usual small headache........that may or may not get big later. Which brings me to my neurologist appointment today, which brings me to my dh asking me this morning if I wanted him to take off work and go with me. A very unusual turn of events. I told him I was quite sure it would just be a "see and speak" type of appointment.........

THEN I found out (I still haven't mapquested) that this may be in Dallas. Connected to a hospital there. Which not only means I have to drive Dallas traffic , but they may send me straight over for any tests he wants done........and then I WOULD want my dh there to hold my hand.

HOWEVER because the appointment is at 3:00, he will not be able to go with me if it's in Dallas, because there will be no one to pick up Thing 2 (younger son) from preschool........unlikely we'd have the appointment and make it all the way back before closing of the center.

This is when it would be nice to have family in town.

I was perfectly fine with this until this morning. NOW I am nervous.

it has been 2 hours now since your appointment at 3PM. I hope you were able to sort out the driving situation and that your driving experience today wasnot as bad as mine, left the house at 2PM to get to work at 3P which gives me alot of room for traffic.. well I did not know the severety of the traffic is coming from the next state (Delaware, I am in Pa), there was a trucker trailer/tanker that affected north and south bound... so I got here at work at 4P it was crazy! I hope you did not have to take alot of test

I havent been on much lately...been busy..but i would say i am on the dis more when i am alone than when my kids or my other half is around..

Well, the dr. says I'm normal. I asked to see his license when he told me that.

Migraines. But bad enough and frequent enough that he gave me a daily preventative and then a bunch of samples for when one hits. Said when I find the one I like best, to call him and he'll prescribe it.

Traffic wasn't bad, though I had no idea where I was going........had to backtrack once. Then on the way home, the roads split a different way (why do they love to do that?) and had to backtrack AGAIN.

Now you really are Poppin Paige... Pop the right now for the right pain!! I am glad you got there and back safely. I know your Dr/Pharmacist had explain but just be mindful in drinking pain pills with other meds... might catch reaction... It happend to me with Advil, tylenol and tums .... I turned Dalmatian with red dots instead of Black

I'm going through similar stuff, but I have pain under my ribs and on my side, I was coughing for three months.
The Dr. gave me Nexium for the coughing! I had no idea it could be from reflux, and it seems to be working.
I had chest x-rays done, today I went for blood work and a mamogram squish.
I will see her again Friday, keep your fingers crossed!!

So, what's new?
I have nothing cool happening right now.
Weather is finally nice down here. It's been gloomy for quite a few days. Very strange for us this time of year.
My son started baseball a couple of weeks ago, so besides work, that is our life. lol
My house is a mess from being gone. I have tons of laundry to do
I guess tomorrow is catch up day. Then my son has a sock hop at school.

I guess this things comes with age... tomorrow 1st thing in the morning at around 7A I have to start drinking 40OZ of water/liquid to prep for an ultrasound at 7:45AM, this is the 3 month follow for the fibroids hopefully nothing major would be the result.... hopefully UFE or ablation would be the my end point.. I really dont want to go for any major surgery

UGH! I hate those things. Good luck. Seems we are all going through medical tests at the same time.
My doctor said all her patients under 40 are healthy
Not sure how old you all are, but I'm over 40 and it's so true. It's downhill from there.
I guess I really have to think about taking better care of my self.
