How late do the extra hours allow you to stay at the MK?

Just wondering--Does anyone know how long Disney kept the MK open during the evening "Extra Magic Hours?"

I think it is up to 3 hours, but don't have exact.

We were there last week. MK's regular closing hour was 7pm, and on the EMH night it was closed at 10pm. MGM's regular closing hour was 7pm also, and it's EMH night closing hour was 10pm. Epcot's regular closing hour is 9pm, and on it's EMH night it was closed at midnight. The countries still closed at 9pm, it was the big rides in Future World that were opened until midnight.

It is my understanding that future world at Epcot normally closes at 7pm...and the world showcase stays open until 9...so for EMH at night, futureworld stays open until 9 and then another 3 hours until midnight for resort guests? Or does futureworld close from 7-9 and then reopen?

You may stay 3 hours after official closing. Since the Magic Kingdom is the park with the most variable hours, it could be 10 pm closing for EMH or 1 am closing for EMH. You will just have to check the hours for the week you are going. They are usually up a month or 2 at a time on the official Disney website.

Yeah, that's what I thought, too. But there are several rides in Future World that stay open until 9pm during the regular hours: Honey I Shrunk the Audience, Mission Space, Spaceship Earth, and Test Track. The rides open during Epcot's EMH night are: Test Track, Mission Space, Spaceship Earth, Journey into Imagination, Honey I Shrunk the Audience, Universe of Energy, Norway-Maelstrom, Mexico-El Rio del Tiempo.

I brought home my park maps/hours/guides so I took the above info from that. It had a date on the info (Jan 2-15, 2005), so I'm not sure if the rides open will change during a more busy season.

I don't know if on the EMH night the rides that usually close at 7pm (Journey, and Universe of Energy) closed then reopened at 9pm. I didn't stay for the EMH night, my teens went to it. Also, I don't even remember if Universe of Energy was opened...I guess I missed that one.
