Do buses run until after PI closes? We have a late ADR at WL and are trying to figure out how we are going to get back to CBR. Our options are take the WL to DTD bus and then transfer to the CBR bus OR take a taxi. Am I missing anything?

Thanks.

Downtown Disney buses run to resorts until 2am.

You should be fine. I don't think you will be eating past midnite at Wilderness Lodge.

Pleasure Island closes at 2am. There are buses going FROM Pleasure Island to the resorts till 2am. (There is also usually a catch all bus about 2:15am).

However, since last call at the clubs is about 1am, buses from the resorts TO Pleasure Island slow down considerably after about midnite.

We should be fine then. We have a 9:20 ADR at Whipering Canyon. We should be on the bus by 11pm to DTD. We can then transfer to the CBR bus. The next day is early entry at MK, so we don't want to be up too late!

Thanks.

In May we ate at WL at Artist Point and were staying at Pop. We paid to take a cab back and forth due to the fact that with the waiting for buses and transfers, it can take you upwards of an hour to get back and forth, and with a cab it took us under 10 minutes each way. The fare was approximately $15 each way, but I think that it was money well spent after a long day! :thumbsup2

From Deb's site:

Disney World Bus: From any Disney resort, take the bus marked Downtown Disney. From Fort Wilderness, the Downtown Disney bus operates from the Outpost Depot. There is no direct bus transportation serving Downtown Disney from any theme park or from the Transportation and Ticket Center. Check at your resort to see what time the bus for Downtown Disney operates. In general, the buses stop running one hour after closing time at Downtown Disney, which for most of the clubs on Pleasure Island is 2 a.m.

Last call in the clubs is usually around 1:30-1:35am with "lights on" and "everyone please leave" by 1:45am. All the resort busses are out there.
