How late did you book your wedding?

We're wanting to get married at the beginning of December this year. At the moment we arent able to book as we have things to sort out first. We're really wanting to get married at the WP.
What i'm interested in is how likely are we to get our date (we have a week that we would like to get married in),if we can only book 3 months before?
How late did you book?

Not sure about that, I am not sure how busy December is for weddings. We are getting married in 6 weeks, booked a year out and had no problems. Maybe you can book earlier? I would call Disney and see where they are right now witht he week you are interested in - They can maybe give you some good advice as to what to do.

No Jamie....thats's just it we cant book earlier...I know Disney allow you to book a year out...but we're just not able to do that for personal reasons. Anyone booked with just a few months to go?

I booked late compared to other DIS boarders by 8 months out. I think what Jamie was saying was maybe you could call the FTW and just speak with them and see how the week you want looks already. I mean, if the week is already filled than no bother worrying since you wouldn't have much luck.

I booked 7 months out for an intimate wedding during the week and it was not a problem.

I booked our June wedding the August before. I knew I wanted the last weekend in June, and managed to get the Friday with times and venues that I wanted. Are you looking at an intimate or custom wedding? I agree with LK03 - I would call them and tell them your situation and ask abotu currently availabilty for the week you are looking at. No one will know better than Disney how busy the week you are looking at is for weddings.

We are wanting an intimate wedding. When I spoke to Disney before they didnt seem to want to give much away...just kept saying book as soon as you can!

They can plan an intimate wedding in a week. I think as long as you are flexible with time of day you should be fine.

We booked in May for our December 2004 wedding. Every day and time we were interested in was avail when we first called, including the WP. We married on Monday, December 6.

I called in Sept 03, for our March 04 custom wedding and had no problem getting any of our locations, even with ours being a Saturday night wedding.
