How late can you pre-order at BOG?

Hiya gurus.

We have a lunch reservation at BOG, and want to pre-order so as to avoid unnecessary queueing.

I'm fairly sure I know what I want to eat, as I am a man of simple tastes, but DH can be a bit more... shall we say 'selective' depending upon myriad factors that I am not always party to.

To save my sanity, is there a cutoff time by which we must place an order?

Pretty sure there's no cut off time - just order before you check in. On our last two trips we ordered while taking a relaxing Railroad ride on our way to our BOG ADR. Things may have changed so hopefully someone else will chime in if I'm incorrect.

We always pre-order the 'morning of' - usually during Philharmagic, since that always seems to be our wasting time before BOG attraction. I'm not brave enough to wait until right before - but, I've done it at about 30 minutes prior.

In my experience, pre-ordering doesn't speed up the process. They have tweaked the process a bit in the last year but - mostly by training CMs to be a bit more active in their directing of the process. Still, pre-order or order in line can still result in a wait for your food AND a 'not quite hot' breakfast. Also, BOG breakfasts can be pretty heavy so if you have a big dinner the night before you may want the freedom to order in the minute.

Lovely, thanks all. I think ordering the morning of should be just fine.. He should have a good idea of what he wants then.

You'd assume...

It's lunch, @goofy kc, and neither of us are really breakfast eaters, so usually by lunch I'd eat Shergar if he was served up with a nice side salad.

Not expecting the world's greatest food, but the atmosphere should make up for that..

Just my opinion, but I think the carved turkey sandwich at BOG lunch is one of the best lunch items available in the parks. And, it is a fairly good value - I only ate half and was able to get a box from the table bussers - doable, since I was on my way out of the park. I think next time, I will talk someone into sharing it with me. I don't eat the dijon dressing, the pre-ordering allows you to remove dressings, and some other things in dropdown boxes.

I have ordered multiple times while in line to check in for my ADR. Right up to the actual time of my ADR.

Question about pre-ordering lunch at BOG. I might be wrong, but I though you could pre-order from the app. I just did the latest update to the mydisneyexperience app and when I go to my BOG reservations, and I click on Place or Modify Order, it tells me that I can order my meal in advance, or modify an existing order at Disneyworld.com. I thought you could preorder from the app. We ate there twice last October (breakfast and lunch) and I thought that was where I preordered.

I've never been able to pre order from the app. I've always gone to the website.
