How late can you arrive for an ADR?

Anyone know how late you can arrive for an ADR for it to still be honored? 10 minutes? 15 minutes? I have found myself in sheer panic mode at times because we got tied up in a line or exiting a show. This will be our first year without a stroller (I think anyway) So I won’t have the ability to "fly" to a restaurant. Just curious, this way I’ll know how many Xanax to pack lol!

There is no official policy. It is up to each restaurant, but most restaurants they will allow up to about 15 minutes late before putting you on the walk up list or possibly cancelling your reservation. Disney recommends that you arrive about 15 minutes early at most TS so if you plan for that you will give yourself an additional 15 minute leeway.

Are there 2 adults or are you and your kid(s) child by yourselves? Have one adult run ahead and put your name in. If they ask if your party was there, tell them they are outside, which isn't a lie . By the time they call your name (ADR's rarely are running on time, especially mid-evening), your whole party will get there.

I was told that if you arrive very late (around 30 minutes) for an ADR, blame a bus driver. (This was told to me BY a WDW bus driver).

Tip: plan accordingly. Arrive early. Don't stress if you miss it.
