How late can we eat?

I am off to Disney in September with my parents. When we go we like to take a break in the middle of the day for swimming and a nap and inevitably our dinner ADRs are too early and we are having to rush to get there on time. Does anyone know how close to park closing time Disney will seat you for dinner?

1) All depends upon which eatery.
2) Also, some in-park eateries flex their hours if there are longer park hours.
3) On the other hand, some eateries do not change their hours at all.
4) Let me know which one(s) you are referencing.

Brown Derby: 11:30am-3:00pm / 3:30pm-10:30pm
Chefs de France: Noon-3:00pm / 5:00pm-9:00pm
Tony's Towne Square: 11:30am-2:45am / 4:30pm-Close *

* Usually 9:00pm, but can extend

So Brown Derby will stay open even if DHS closes at 8:30pm?
