How late can I order an AP

We're going down to WDW December 31st. I still haven't made up my mind about getting APs or not. We would probably take another trip next October, so it may be worth it.

What is the lead time for ordering APs? How late can I leave it?

You can get it when you get there. There's no advance purchase discount for AP's.

The only advantage to ordering it prior to getting there is to be able to charge it to your credit card before you leave (if you want to spread payments), other than that, if you order it early what you get in the mail is a voucher that will need to be activated at the ticket center, so you will need to stop by any ticket window anyway, so take your time and think about it and make your decision when you get there if you want to.
