How late can I add DME to our reservation?

I didn't have the flight info when we booked our resort so the lady didn't add DME to our reservation. We will be there next Tuesday. Now I can't call the US from my landline right now because the phone is acting up, and the earliest I can call from my folks' house is Sunday. (We are in France and I am *not* calling Disney from my cell phone ). Will that be enough time ?
I know we won't have time to receive the tags and all but we never do and would rather pick up our luggage anyway.

According to wdwinfo.com:
"If the flight has not been booked when the Disney resort reservation is made, it can be added up to 10 days in advance."

However, it sounds like something can be done even within the 10 day window, but this may be primarily in terms of the luggage:
"If the Disney's Magical Express service is added within 10 days of arrival, alternate arrangements will be made."

Your best bet is to call Reservations as soon as you can, explain what is happening and see what can be done.

You should be able to reserve DME the day before you are scheduled to arrive.

Thanks, I got a little worried after reading the first answer so I took the plunge & called. Got a VERY patient CM (I pretty much have to repeat everything 10 times the line is so bad) but it's done.
Big sigh of relief
