I'm going to Disney in 16 days ( ) and I saw that MK closes at 6pm! That's so early! We're only going for three days and we won't have much time in the parks since they all close early. What time do the pools at the resorts close (We're staying at POP). Also, what time does DTD close?
TIA!! :cool1:

I called Pop and they said the pools there close at midnight but I think she said the guards leave at 10. We are going next week so I will let you know, my DD is very happy about swimming that late.

If you have a park hopper ticket........ we usually head over to Epcot in the evenings because they are open until 9. Downtown Disney is open pretty late. I don't know for sure, but I would say??11pm??? just a guess :confused3

The quiet ones at POR are open 24 hours. My DD 5 concluded that it has to be opened all the time because (with the roll of her eyes) "It has no doors, Mom". So there you have it from a 5 year old!

When we were at Pop I believe, like the PP said, it closed at 10 and the guard on duty had my family help her make up a rhyming poem to tell the guests that the pool was closed. :) It was really cute. :)

Thanks so much everybody! It hasn't really hit me yet that I'm going. I hadn't planned on going until May for our honeymoon. This was a nice surprise!

I know at POP all the signs said the lifeguards left at 10, but the pools closed at midnight. However, the whole week we were there, there were always kids in the pool past that time. :confused3

When I stayed at POP, we had a room right beside the pool, and there were people in there at ALL hours of the day and night, including the night we got back from DTD around 2 AM.

It's pretty much a free for all when I've been there. (All Stars) I always thought if you were quiet who cares what time you are in the pool until. It's always worked for me.

The Polynesian pool closes at midnight but the lifeguards left at 8:00 p.m. and they closed the slide when they left. This was last week.

Just back from POFQ, great pool! :thumbsup2 I'm pretty sure it was 12 midnight, at least for the main pool.

we always go swimming late. What usually happens is the kids DD7 DS5 always fall asleep on the bus ride back to the resort, catching their second wind so they are ready to go swimming when we get back usually by 11:00 pm. The lifeguards are gone and they close the waterslides but you can still swim and there are always people in the pools and jacuzzi.
