How is your Ebay going??

YES! Up from last year and last year was great. But I sell items that make great gifts!

I've sold three things this week and am happy with sales!!!

Lesley

Well, for the first time in a long time nothing of mine is selling. Less than 24 hours to go on 7 items and only 2 watchers.

Like what kind of gifts....I am looking for something for my DD's teacher.

Been very busy!! I shippped over 50 packages just this week. Woo Hoo!!!

We sell football tickets, and they are selling, but not selling for as much as in previous years, or earlier in the season. I am VERY sure though that this is because the team stinks this year and people don't want to pay a lot to see a stinky team!!

What are people selling?

We have a watch that hubby has never worn which we should sell, but I don't have a digital camera and haven't had the money to get my film developed so I can upload the photo that we did take of it. I really need to find someone with a digital camera who could take a picture of it and upload it for me.

and I've made $230 after fees. I'm still hoping to make $300 [and I'd love ot make more] but I'm running out of items to sell from the attic! ;o)

I'm selling movies, baby clothes, old digital camera, dog tote carrier, anything I can find.

I just sold one of DH's CD's that he had back in high school for $38.00! DH said it 'sucks' so we were both surprised. Now if I only could find more of them...

I had 36 auctions up this week, sold 30 of them for 322.09. I decided against relisting right now since the holidays are almost here, I hate dealing with shipping close to them and I plan to open an ebay store after C'mas and need to work on that. I sold mainly childrens clothes, leotards, some new toys, and one lot of books that was a relist from a NPB. My surprise auction was a EUC Hanna Andersson Let it Snow sweater size 90 that went for 66.00! I also sold one of the Gap Pony knit caps for almost 20.00 (I paid 1.97 clearance). All in all I was very pleased with this weeks listings. The only thing that I hate is I have to brave the PO tomorrow to ship packages to Canada, the UK and Germany...I hate the PO (normally I use paypal shipping w/ pick up LOL)! Of course most my money went towards Remy's American Girl doll and other gifts LOL.

Just curious...but which one? We have so many cd's and books that we're planning on putting up. Good to hear that sometimes you get a "surprise" payday out of things you wouldn't expect.

Yeah, the Hannas are nuts right now, and for the past few months. I usually buy a few every fall and spring for church, and I was APPALLED at how much they were going for. Seriously, one dress I could have bought new for less on the hanna website than it went for used on Ebay. So nuts! I was also REALLY wishing I had Hannas that the girls had outgrown right now so I could sell them and ride that crazy wave. :wizard:

I sold an Elmo, some Boucheron body powder that my MIL gave back to me (said it was 'stinky'), some disney vhs's, just things around the house that I didnt need and knew would sell. Right now I have my eye on some books and some jeans for my growing like a weed 6 year old...

Is anybody else really annoyed by the Paypal "checks" that people are using now? I have Paypal only auctions and recently they've been popping up, and I have to wait for the buggers to clear, often for a week or more, before I can ship. It really throws off my whole sell-pack-ship rhythm!

It was a band called Hurricane. I had never even heard of them.

I've been doing okay but getting real close to ebay burn out. Every week for the last four or five I have had a least 30-50 items listed. Mostly Disney pins, and event gifts. Hubby has had a bad year being laid off and money has been tight so I have been going through our stuff and listing ,listing and listing.Figured the holiday would be the time to sell. i will stop in a week or two so I can enjoy the holidays Good luck all Brenda

My sales are going very well. Items that I had listed in the Spring and Fall which never sold are sellling well. So, I figure whatever I can sell I am getting out there now. I am also going through Ebay burnout, but I figure it is only for another 2 weeks.

They've had echecks for years. They usually clear in 4 business days. I don't mind them..beats getting a check mailed LOL!

That's funny, I've been selling on ebay for 5 years and never got one until the past few months, and BOTH took over a week to clear. Ewie!

I get burnout too; I tend to buy and sell in fits, then take months off. I'm on the tail-end of an ebay fit right now :rotfl:

I'm starting to wind down. I sell almost all clothing. I will finish listing this week. Then I'll take off for the remainder of the year through February. I'll start alittle in the early part of the month and really pick-up by the end. Ironically my summer clothing goes best Early March-Mid April. Well, it goes for top dollar then.

I'm pretty much burned out from the last few months too- so I'm glad it's almost time for a break.
