How is TSM at closing?

We're arriving later in the day to DHS, but really want to ride TSM. We will have a GAD FP card to use, but we also want to ride TT and RnR. Anyway, I know if we're in line at closing they'll let you ride....just wasn't sure how long the wait would be. I don't think Fantasmic is showing that night either.

We just got back & were at DHS 2 nights - they cut the line off at closing - wait the 1st night was 100 min. and 75 min. the next at that time. Crazy! We got our FP around 10am & they were for 3:30-4:30pm.

We went on it Monday night February 22nd with EMH (no fantasmic night) about 1 hour before closing and waited only 20 minutes (although the wait time said 40 minutes). I don't know what was a bigger factor with the short wait time: EMH or no fantasmic.

We were there the week of 2/13-2/19. We got there at rope drop and I went straight to the FP line. The time we got was for 10:30. When we went back at 10:30 I was eligible for another FP and the time was for 3:30. We usually finish eating dinner close to closing time and always make our way over to TSM to see how bad the times are. The sign said 100 mins that night. I don't know if the wait was that long or not, but we didn't wait. In the past the waits are usually pretty close to that when we have been there. Only once did it say 40 mins and the ride broke down about 10 mins later. It is definitely a ride you don't want to miss though.

Your GAD gives you 3 FP's in the donald cat.....so you can do TOT, RnR and TSM...I personally us the single rider lne for RnR..it goes even faster than the fast pass lane, and ToT often doesn't have too long a line
I was just there and used all 3 GAD FP's for TSM..actually giving some of them away to some very happy fellow guests!

I heard that, especially at night, that they will purposely raise the wait time to detour people from riding it before closing. Example: it's 20 minutes until park close and the wait is actually only 20 minutes, they will make it 40-60 to detour people from getting into the line. Take it at what it's worth, but it makes sense to me.

When we were there in early December as we were leaving the park the wait time was 110 minutes. We didn't get in the line so I have no idea how long it would have actually taken to get on the ride.
