How is Trattoria al Forno?

We have reservations at Mama Melrose's on the 25th. We love their flatbreads. I read on another thread that they are open, but being refurbished, and have reduced menu with no flatbreads. Just looking for another option that doesn't have to have flatbreads, but does have pizza.

We went here for dinner for the first time this past Spring Break, as we wanted to see how it was vs. Via Napoli. We were very happy with the meal we had.

Calamari and Caprese Salad apps were very good. And we all enjoyed our meals - I had the Linguini and Clams, DW had the Risotto (perfectly made), DD 13 had her fav - Chicken Parm and DD 11 had her fav - steak made Med Rare.

For dessert we had the Zeppoli - very tasty, and I had an outstanding Orange Liqueur to go with them.

So now if we just want pizza, we'll go to VN. For a very good family Italian meal that's not that expensive at WDW, we'll go to Trattoria. For a special date night when it's just me and DW, we'll go to Il Mulino at the Swan.

As an FYI - we have a ADR for the day after Thanksgiving at Trattoria - looking forward to going back!
