???

I hate eating in DCA - can never find anything decent, so thinking about the Taqueria before we head in for the evening? Is it any good?

Thanks!

We love the chicken nachos! (I'm talking about the indoors restaurant, not the outside counter service.) Also very good margaritas, but you can split a plate of nachos and call that dinner.

We love the outdoor Tacqueria. The nachos are huge and very good! When you order tacos, you get 2 per order. You get to choose the type of meet, sauce and cheese you want. I always get one chicken & one grilled steak with salsa verde....YUM!!!! For $6, it's a good deal. The enclosed patio area is a nice place to take a break.

I've never eaten at the inside restaurant, so I really don't have a comparison.

I have ate inside full dining and the take out window.

It's good. If you've ever had *fantastic* Mexican food, it's not that great.

However, it's still ok/good. I go there as at least I know the flavors won't bother me even if they aren't as great as they could be.

I'm a vegetarian and I must say their vegetarian rice isn't very good, but I get it, at least it is vegetarian.

For those that have eaten at Tortilla Jo's, how does the food compare to Rancho Zocalo in DL park?

We like Rancho better, we got sick after eating at TJ's and we have not been back.

Why do you not like eating at DCA?? Some of our favorite places to eat are there. Have you been to the Cove Bar and had the lobster nachos? They are amazing!!!!!!!

I found the lobster nachos good but not great. The chips are thick like pita chips and the lobster is ground up, salty & somewhat fishy. Not bad at all, though.

TJ's outdoor patio had mex food better than Taco Bell but not as good as a typical AZ Mexican restaurant. The prices weren't bad. The menu is a bit like... is it Chipotle? And Qdoba, if you've ever been to that one. The nachos use the liquid cheese, not shredded.

Another vote for the Chicken Nachos (at the counter service).

That's one difference between indoor and outdoor. The indoor restaurant uses real shredded cheese, and different chips I believe.

I've always found the indoor Tortilla Jo's to be quite poor in both quality and value. The outdoor counter service location changed not too long ago and is pretty good.

I think tortilla Jo's is pretty good. We definitely liked it better than Rancho Zocalo. We usually get a Jamba Juice and drink that with our dinner there. We usually sit in the patio (table service not the window).

And don't forget the discount if you if you have a PAP.

It was not cheap but nothing in disney is :)

Really enjoyed the fresh guacamole and I recommend splitting a burrito they are HUGE...

We have done dine in and take out for our hotel!

They do have good margaritas...not the weak, syrupy sweet kind that Rainforest Cafe serves...the food is alright...I did enjoy the tortilla soup last time I was there...It's a nice place to sit and relax. I will probably eat there on our next visit...

I think this is funny, we are the exact opposite. :) But that's probably because we got sick after we ate at TJ's. :)

At RFC I like the Margarilla, it's made with orange sherbert so it's like a smoothie with alcohol. :thumbsup2
