How is this a deal? Help me be less confused.

Finally got a Pin! I was really excited, we love Disney, but as we are one child richer and one income poorer, we didn't think a vacation would be doable for awhile. Anywho, I call today to get a quote. (3 nights in mod, 3 parkhopper, mod dining plan)... I then jump online without signing in to price the vacation without the pin, and it is the EXACT SAME PRICE! (give or take $50 or so).... what the heck? It is the Cinderella pin btw. Why would I even need a pin if the price is going to be the same without it? Am I missing something?

One thing you are probably missing is they automatically include trip insurance.

So if you didn't include that, that is probably a big diff.

You should pull it up on your screen and then call. If it doesn't come out the same, ask them why. They will go thru line by line and you will find it.

i think you should go and ask them.. this is something important and clear it first so that you won't face any further problems or difficulties

Did you go through the site that they sent with the cinderella e-mail code? They are using your pin code, which Disney never let you do before.

This is why I played around with different resorts, they gave me the amount off with my pin code.


I compared pricing too and opened a new page and went into the regular WDW site, and it was 35% more than my e-mail page I used with my pin code offer.

Is there a minimum length of stay with that pin? A lot of the things I see floating around seem to have 4 or 5 night minimums on them.

If you are staying at a Mod for only 3 nights, the pin is going to save you about $45/night on the room (30% off $150/night). If you take that times 3 nights, that is only about $135 in savings. If you did not click "decline" on the trip insurance, that would make sense why the prices were about the same.

Isn't Disney running % off specials right now available to anyone on the website? If you dates fall within those same time periods, your total might be the same. Go to Disney's site and click on specials - it's 25 - 40% off for certain dates.
