I would never stay at Westgate even if it was free. I exchanged my timeshare for Westgate on 192 years ago and had a terrible experience. First, when I checked the beds, there were little baby spiders between the headboard and the mattress along with other uninvited guests throughout the unit. I called and they said they would be right over. They weren't and at midnight they came to move us to another unit. This unit was so old there was rust on the oven and refrigerator. During the night, my daughter went to the bathroom and there was a huge black spider or something crawling on the outside of the bathtub towards her. In the morning, they moved us to a new, clean, modern room. Everything was great until we returned back there from the parks at night and were locked out of our unit. I went to security and they got us in. About 5 minutes later, I noticed some coffee and half eaten sandwiches from McDonalds on the kitchen counter and some things moved around. I called the front desk to ask if someone was in their cleaning and left their food. Again, here comes security and after checking the fingerprints etc at 1am they told us that the front desk assigned our room to another family while we were out. I felt really scared not knowing if they went through my stuff etc and after complaining, writing a letter to them etc I was too nervous to go back to sleep. We stayed up and packed and left at 5am. When I told the front desk we were leaving 4 days early and why, they laughed. I have never heard from Westgate and I can still feel the anger all these years later. I will never stay there.
