How is the Weather In Sept.

How is the weather in September. We leave on Sept. 21st.

We've cruised the last 4 years in the month of September (1st half of the month) and have never experienced any major weather problems other than a brief shower here and there.....Andy

It was VERY hot and extremely humid when we were there last September. It was almost too uncomfortable to be outside all day at Castaway Cay...... the A/C, back on the ship, sure felt good.

We are leaving just as you are coming! We are on the Sept. 18th Wonder.

We have cruised in Sept. since 2000. The only time we had bad weather was when we boarded on the first cruise in 2000. It was pouring rain, but the next morning we woke up to beautiful weather the rest of the time.

It is hot during this time. We were on the Western 7 day last year and I remember it being really bad at Key West (too hot!). But we still enjoyed ourselves.

We go in September because it is our twins' birthday, and they have celebrated their last 3 birthdays on a DCL ship, and we will be back again this year, and are already booked for next year (for a 7 day Eastern). So we keep going back year after year in September. The prices are lower during this time too.

I started to warn about the risk of hurricanes in Sept., but I did some research and au Contraire (sp.?)

here is a NOAA link showing actually relatively low prob. of hurricanes in sept, especially in the WESTERN region.

The Probability looks about 1 in 8 for a hurricane.
