Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone has visited the Wave. I saw (on another site) that at lease one person enjoyed it. How about you guys? How was it? Is it a good place for kids and families? Please help!! :)

I really liked it. It is a nice break from the crowds of the park restaurants but is easily accessible from MK and Epcot. The foot was fresh and delicious and the service was great, too. I really like the trio desser options for the variety. Our server overheard us saying how our first anniversary had been the previous weekend and brought us a wine toast! Look for food pics on the food pic thread. I recently posted pics on there as well.

We ate here for Breakfast in May...it was SO delicious!!!!!! We have a 4 year old, he loved it as well....we all cleaned our plates!! :)

I LOVED this place b/c everything is so fresh and organic. The selections are great...a little different, but oh so good.

We are going back in December and will definitely eat here at least once, maybe more!!

GOOD LUCK!!

Both my dining companion and I (both of us are Hard Core Foodies) foudn it to be very, very good. They did lose our ADRs and I was too stupid to bring the number with me. Service was VERY lackluster. We saw our server but once after we ordered. Had to flag down other servers for drink refills and had to steal salt and pepper from another table as we had none and it seemed too much of a bother to flag someone down yet again.

I went in December of 2008. Very nice decor. Other than the child who threw a tantrum for an hour straight and the parents did nothing, it was a reasonably OK experience. The meal was good, nothing to be amazed about. The desserts are hideous though.

I also was wondering if I should fit this into our ADR's. The food actually looks pretty good. Thanks for sharing.:thumbsup2

We ate there in March (tons of pics in my March link), actually cancelled Kona to try it and boy were we glad we did, the food was fantastic but the atmosphere was so relaxing, hard to believe this is not considered a 2TS place...it is right up there with the signature places

We loved the Wave. So good. Good food , nice atmosphere. I also sent my DM & DD & DS & his DGF . They all loved it there.

Thanks all. I think I will try it. We have settled on O'hana, Chef Mickey's. Boma, Whispering Canyon, and the Wave. I wish you all luck with future Disney visits. :)

I agree with other posters - very nice, relaxing environment and food we had was great!! I had the ruben, and hands down the best one I've ever eaten. Nice and crispy on the outside, not too much meat or sauerkraut to overfill it or make it soggy, and great flavor!

I think we had ADRs for lunch, but I'll tell you that we ate there mid-week, and probably early (around 11:30) and the place was only about 1/3 full even by the time we left. I think for now this is a somewhat hidden lunch-time treasure that you should be able to pop in on unplanned if you are going in a less busy time. I was there in late April this year, and I think the service may have improved based on comment because our server was very attentive.

Oh, and the beer sampler is fantastic, and a fun way to taste all of the organic beers they have to offer.

In February it was fair for breakfast and quite good for dinner. It's very low key by Disney standards, only a little too pricey for the quality of food. I don't think it'd be super great for kids, however.

Another vote for the Wave :thumbsup2
I had the sustainable tuna a few weeks back and it was some of the best tuna I've ever eaten at WDW.
