How is the water at the parks?

I was just wondering how the water taste at the parks. My son only drinks a certain kind of juice and it's power form and I was trying to figure out how many waters I need to bring in the park- so I was wondering how the water taste and is it cold? We went Six Flags in GA(we live in GA) and I brought the power but the water was just luke warm, which was not very refreshing. Just trying to plan ahead.

Yeah. I went up to counter service places, places that sell popcorn, etc and never had any problem with them giving me a cup.

Our tap water isn't the best in the world so I would stick with bottled or filtered water. I've never liked our tap water!

OP - bring, have it shipped, or stop & buy bottled water

PA requires water treatment facilities to meet certain standards as publicly supplied water, as to contaminents.

FYI, certain % of trace elements pass (many things in there u wouldn't think would be - arsenic, etc. as reported in the yearly report our borough provides us)

Assume some cities have higher %s (although within the allowances) than others attributing to taste/smell variences...then u have the hard & soft water issues & sodium considerations, flouride additives & factor in the initial purity too (where the water intially is derived from...underground sources, rivers, etc.)

Sometimes the water out of the tap is better for you than bottled water!

But the water they have in the parks is nice, crisp, and refreshing.

We/ve noticed that the water from the fountains at Disney seem to taste like sulphur, i.e. eggs. Therefore, we take a Tupperware type of water bottle (one that has a large opening for ease of putting in the ice) from home that we can fill with ice from the vending machines so we can have cold water at the parks that tastes decent. The bottle/s we use have carry straps.

the water at Universal tastes like normal water. i'm very picky about the taste because the water at disney tends to have a weird taste to it but i don't get the same taste at universal.
if you want ice water, just make sure you go up to a stand or food place that sells pop from the fountain cause then they'll also have filtered water. if they don't have a soda fountain then you'll be stuck with paying for bottled water (and that's super expensive)
