How is the Rope Drop Dash to the Mine Ride in MK?

We got shut out of early FP+s for this so our plan is to hustle there at RD, I'd appreciate any advice on how feasible this is.

Feasible but IMHO hectic and stressful. Unfortunately it's probably the busiest RD stampede in WDW right now, and when we did it last year, the one and only time I was a little unnerved. Easy to get tripped up walking along the trolley rails and I honestly worried about whether we'd be trampled if one of us fell.

Can you score a BOG breakfast reservation? DW and I did a couple of weeks ago and found it to be a very pleasant experience--kind of the opposite of RD to 7DMT.

We rode 7D right after Wishes a few weeks ago. The actual wait was 10 minutes (posted wait was 65). Late night might be a more efficient use of time than the morning dash for this attraction.
