My mom and I were thinking of doing the Polynesian Luau on December 6th and attend their last show (nice to view the flames and we could get a DVC discount). We were wondering last night how the weather would be at that time. My mom is under the impression that Disney encloses the area to keep it warm in December. I absolutely don't think they can or do this. We will be at Disney celebrating her 65th birthday (December 8th) and we are staying at the Polynesian Coincerige. All other nights we have booked/planned for X-mas Events.

If anyone has attended a performance in December if you can let me know how cold is it and if we should wait to next year. We did the show once before but that was in May a few years ago (with the "new" show).

You are under a "gazebo" type area, but it is outside, not enclosed, open to the elements. We went last year, in August and the performance nearly ended due to rain.
