how is the pizza delivery at the Contemporary?

I have heard it is not so great. I will be staying there for a conference in afew weeks and one evening we need to order in (for a meeting, cannot leave) and we are on a budget. Can you order in other delivery pizza (domino's etc)? Would it we better just to order bread, sandwich fixins from garden grocer? Help!

I think it is pretty common to order in pizza. When I stayed at the Contemporary, the front desk clerks had the phone numbers of all the local pizza delivery spots available (ie Papa John's, Domino;s, etc).

It seems the general consensus is that the onsite pizza is bad. If you can get the number of a chain that delivers, you should be OK.

thanks so much for your knowledge. I thought that outside pizza joints (domino's etc) were not allowed so I am glad to hear that they are.

Just a note: the offsite pizza vendors will not be able to deliver to your conference room. Someone will need to meet them in the lobby.
