We're going back to Pop Century next month, and on our last trip there, we had planned to get some Pizza, but we came back from Epcot at midnight, and we missed out :sad1:

We're coming back to Pop next month, and we plan on getting a Pizza this time. I also plan on getting a Tie Dye cheesecake. Are they good and worth getting? Thanks!

We like the pizza there and get it on every trip. Many on these boards will say that Disney does not have any good pizza but IMO it is very good pizza. I have had worst here at home. You need to try it for yourself and decide as everyone has different tastes.

As for the tie dye cheesecake I have never had it so I don't know how it is but I have read many posts of people raving about it.

Oddly enough I had both of these on our only stay on property at Pop. We had free DDP on our stay in '08 and got pizza after we left the parks one night. We got a pizza and I spent a snack credit on the cheesecake. I wouldn't consider either great but they were good.

We haven't had the pizza, but my sister has had the cheesecake and liked it-I took this as high praise b/c she is a cheesecake snob. I don't think we have ever had anything we didn't like at the POP food court.

Have fun, travel safe!

Cheesecake is very good it is just kind of scary to eat because it is so brightly colored and may dye your mouth.

Just don't look at it when eating it...haha

The cheesecake is my Husbands favorite thing about pop. We have been staying deluxe on our last few trips and he always brings up the pop cheesecake!

The pizza is awful and the cheesecake isn't much better.

To clarify, the large pizza is awful. The individual pizza's are actually pretty good.

The pizza is just average IMO,, and the cheesecake is good (although I would take the sundae over the tie dye anyday).

The pizza was fine. It was a very reasonable price for a meal because we had drinks & chips in our room.

I think the cheesecake has a red velvet base to it. That seems like it would make it great but I agree with the person who said it gets sickening after a while.

We had great cheesecake with blueberries on it at Sunshine Seasons in Epcot.

I'm defintely trying the cheesecake! I am used to being sick after having cake, since I am a cake addict!

We are kind of unsure about the pizza, pics would be nice. Maybe some pics of the cake too. By the way, we're thinking about getting one to either share in the room, or we'll just be eating in the food court.

I will post my pics here and my reviews too, but I'm hoping for more reviews from you guys!

we did have the pizza once.... though unfortunately I'm no good to you as I cannot for the life of me remember if I enjoyed it or not.

As for the cheesecake, I'm a great cake enthusiast and I really liked it. As far as cheesecakes go for me it's not as great as a chocolate cheesecake but it's deffinately worth a try.

I have never eaten the pizza here, but I did try the cheesecake last October. It was just ok. I probably would not get it again.

I posted before but I wanted to clarify that I didn't think the cheesecake got sickening because it was really rich or because it was good & I ate a lot. I thought it sort of tasted greasy. I kept eating it, thinking it would get better but it didn't. I would get one piece for everyone to try and take pictures of your tongues.

Unless you are a pizza snob, the pizza will be fine. I wish I had kept my box it had a picture of all the characters on it.

I also wanted to tell you that the Mickey Waffles kids meals are a great deal. For $5 you get 2 waffles, a piece of bacon, a piece of sausage, a container of applesauce, and a carton of milk. I ate the waffles, gave the bacon/sausage to my kids who love it, and kept the applesauce for a snack for the kids for later.

I'm not a pizza snob, but thanks for the insult. The large pizza at Pop Century is lousy. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, no need for name calling.

My family loves them both. We will be at POP in December with my DD22 and 3 of our grandkids. My DD22 actually offered to take the grandkids back to POP and order a pizza and some tye dye cheesecake while me and DH have a date night. The tye dye cheesecake is her very favorite desert at Disney. The bottom is red velvet cake and the top is cheesecake. It is only available at POP. It is very rich and I would recommend sharing it so you don't make yourself sick :thumbsup2 POP has the large pizza, individula pizza and flatbreads. They are all good. IMHO

My biggest cpmplaint on any resort is the food courts close way to early as when people arrive late on plane or car they hungry or come from park late they hungry and thirsty and is no where but vending machines:scared1: to get anything to eat or drink. wish WDW would have at least one lane open all night or later say maybe 3 AM :yay:for at least snacks and pizza and agree the pizza not bad at all we just ask of for them to brown it a little more.:dance3:

I don't think they were calling you a pizza snob. Not nice to say that when you don't know if they were actually talking to you!

Thanks for the info. I'm pretty sure we're going to try both now! I've read about how the cake gives your tounge a tye dye color. I will defintely have to take some pictures of that and then send them to my friends, they have a riot with that!
