Sounds like the food court at the Riverside sounds good! Anyone know how the food at POFQ is? We stayed at the Pop Century and really liked their food court, is POFQ liked that?:)

We were in POFQ end of August and the food court was good. Not nearly as big as the ones in the values, but good. The baguette's are awesome!!! Much larger selection at the value food courts - I preferred ASMo's food court much better than POFQ. Not that anything was bad there, just much less of a selection.

We really enjoy the turkey and mashed potatoes. They are very much like home cooking.

I enjoyed the sandwiches and salads the food court in POFQ. The selection, while not huge, did change a bit each day. DH is a huge "foodie" and he enjoyed the ribs from there and their pizza is good!

The food court was ok. It had your basics. I would get the egg/ bacon platter every morning....although I hate runny scrambled eggs.

I noticed this with many of the restaurants, even around here- why is so hard to cook scrambled eggs well done?

Is there really a demand for soupy eggs?
:sad2:

If you are a big food court eater you are better off staying in Values like Pop. PO-FQ has a decent food court but they don't have enough variety to eat there every day. They have the basic counters--grill (burgers, nuggets), pizza ( and a few pasta dishes), sandwich/salad, and then at dinner sandwich/salad becomes a few dinner entrees like ribs and baked chicken. We like the food at PO-FQ a lot there just isn't the larger variety you get at a Value.

We ate there several times in late August/early September.
I was impressed. Sometimes the food takes a few minutes--but really not long--as they are making it to order. I would certainly rather wait and get pipping hot fries and sandwiches than food that has been sitting under a heat lamp. (Riverside had a lot of food sitting around, dying.)
Plus since they are making it fresh, they were happy to make accomdations.
DD9 said they had the best cheeseburgers anywhere.
I really like the marinated, grilled chicken sandwich. They will add a slice of cheese, if you ask. They will also add mushrooms to the Philly cheesesteak, which was good also.
Desserts were good, too.
The staff was great too. Very helpful and friendly. And the cashiers actually knew what they were doing. One time when I was getting chocolate milk, she asked me if i wanted the larger bottle, not the kiddie one I had picked up. Which, of course, we did.
:)

We had a dinner at the POFQ food court n August. DH had the jambalaya and I had roast chicken and fries. We also sampled the beignets (had to be done ;) ). All the food was very hot and fresh and was delicious - the roast chicken was quite simply the most delicious chicken I have ever eaten :thumbsup2

And the beignets were yummy too :)

Hey thanks for all of the reply's!! DDS14 will be happy that they have the best cheeseburgers around!:thumbsup2

The POP foodcourt is much bigger than POFQ. I love POFQ but I was never in love with the food court, because it was small and didn't have a ton of choice, but with the short walk to POR it's not a problem.
