I wanted to eat there last time but instead eat dinner at MK. I sadly regret it. I will be solo, can I eat at the bar? TIA.

The food is ok, nothing special but certainly serviceable. The view and location is well worth it though! And yes, you can definitely eat at the bar. Just tell the CM at the checkin area and you can seat yourself.

My two boys and I are there this past June. I thought it was pretty bad. I’ve had much better food at the counter service places in the parks. I was very disappointed because I had been excited to try it myself. Of course, the caveat remains that we could have just hit an “off” day.

We love it! We'll eat there must every single trip, several times. It's one of DH's go to, must visit locations even if we aren't staying at WL. It's never disappointed us and we are rather particular about food choices at Disney. We hate QS there with very few exceptions, pretty much the only one we like is Saltuli Canteen. It's really nice to have nonQS that we can just walk up to. And yes, you can eat at the bar, that's what we always do.

My family loves it also! We ate there several times while staying at Wilderness Lodge and enjoyed the food, drinks, atmosphere and service. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.

DH and I both had entrée salads and they were on the small side and fine. Not great, but fine.

If you order the burger and fries they are the criss cut fries, which is a nice change.

My wife hates hates hates it. I think its serviceable. Breakfast was better than dinner back when they still had it. We had DP and ate there everyday for a week back when they had breakfast. Our room was a few feet from there as well so it was our go to for a back from park dinner in addition to breakfast. As said above its all about the view, other than that it tastes like any pool bar style food. ***We haven’t been since 11-2017 and they have retooled the menu.***

As AJ from DFB would say, “Definitely not destination dining”.

Food used to be decent but no longer, and service is spotty as well. The view is great, and maybe worth a few minutes for a drink if you're staying there or happen to be at the Lodge for some other draw.

This about covers it:

As AJ from DFB would say, “Definitely not destination dining”.

To each their own, as they say. Totally a destination dining thing for us. The only one we have on property actually. All others, we eat where we are. We go to WL to eat at GP no matter what, every trip. Have been since the week it opened. So we've been through every menu they have. Got great beer too

To be clear, I'm talking about the side with the bar. I have no idea if the walk up counter is the same food, or different. We've never eaten at it, never even looked at the menu to see how it varies.

Definitely to each there own! Im glad you guys enjoy it. And like I said Im a lot more okay with it than my wife. I cant stand those waffle fries though. Too crispy. Which kinda takes a big portion away from a burger or chicken sandwich.

And the kitchen for the take out window and tables/bar is identical. But there are a few more higher end items on the bar menu. We should be back there again 11-2019. Eager to try it again and see.

There's another side choice over fries. Some sort of cold grain salad, forget what they call it. But it's yum! That's what I get most of the time

Had a light lunch here after visiting MK a few days ago. We ate at the tables near the bar with service instead of the QS window and enjoyed the view of water traffic. Had black cherry mules to drink, cheesy beef brisket, shrimp on the wire and edamame as eats. Nice relaxing meal for the price of approximately $30.00 p/p. First visit and we’ll be back.

We had dinner there one night in November when we were staying at WL. We thought it was great. DH and I both had burgers and fries. They were really good.

In July we ate there (not at the QS window) and we all had great meals. Drinks were very good, too. We also had great service.
