Hello!

We would like to attempt the Crystal Palace for a late breakfast. Can anyone give me any advice? Is it really good? Do we have to make Priority Seating arrangements? We are going to Orlando May 23rd to 30th.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

CP is one of our favorite breakfasts. We try to have breakfast there once each trip! The french toast puffs are amazing. Pooh and friends host this breakfast.

CP has a good, hot breakfast selection. Just don't try to make your p.s. too late as it will run into when they're changing out for lunch. We were there a few days ago and had a 10:00 p.s. there arrived 15 minutes early and had a bit of a wait. By the time the characters got to us they seemed rushed as did we by our server who was pleasant but you could tell they wanted the breakfast crowd out. They shut down half the breakfast bar to prepare for lunch while we were there. My fault, I kind of forgot they had a lunch character meal so I made our p.s. at 10 thinking if we had a big late breakfast we could pretty much skip lunch, snack a little, and then be ready for our dinner p.s. at Ohana. Next time I would schedule an earlier p.s. at CP.

We loved our Crystal Palace breakfast. We are big Pooh fans, so I'm sure that contributed, but really, everything was nice. The breakfast buffet was great (Pooh and Tigger waffles were adorable and, as mentioned, the french toast puffs are delicious), the restaurant is beautiful (and was fairly quiet when we were there), and the characters were a lot of fun. We had a very early PS (8:05am). I prefer to do that to avoid the possibilities of feeling rushed, lunch food starting to come out, etc. that the previous poster mentioned. Also to get an early start in the park. But, on the other hand, a late breakfast can be a nice break to the morning and you may be able to skip lunch that way and save some time (and money). I would definitely recommend making a PS. Crystal Palace seems to be one of the most popular character meals.

Have fun on your trip!!

I dined at Cp for my first time this past FEB. and Loved it. THe place is open and airy like a green house/sun porch. I'd say it's one of most popular restruants. I actually liked it better than Chef Mickey's

I am so glad I saw this thread, I just called tonigt for PS for CP for dinner in April. I have never been there either, the breakfast sounds great, hope the dinner is just as good!!:jester:

We ate there last May and thought it was fabulous. We had a slightly later breakfast (10AM) and the place was only about 30% full. The characters came by to every table that was around... except for Pooh who was by the buffet, so you had to go up and see him. The food was fresh and we never felt rushed.

I would recommend making a PS ... if you decide later that you don't want to go, you can always cancel. It's always better to have one just in case it's busy.

We had breakfast at the CP last Wednesday. We LOVED it. We had a PS for 8:20 a.m. and were seated promptly. The Pooh characters were great - and I was with teenagers. The little ones in the restaurant were joyful to meet the characters!

The breakfast was delicious and this will be a must for us from now on!

We love CP for dinner - been there three times for that. Had breakfast there in 96 but don't really remember...now after readin all the great breakfast reviews, I think I'm adding this to my list for our 05 trip! Thanks!
